  • How do I prepare for a waxing appointment?
    We recommend that your hair is at least a 1/4 inch long for effective waxing. For reference, that is about the length of a grain of rice. Exfoliate the area 24 hours prior to your appointment, and avoid applying lotions or oils on the day of.
  • Does waxing hurt?
    Waxing can cause some discomfort, but the pain will depend on your personal pain tolerance and the area being treated. In general, excessive or unbearable pain is a sign that something isn't quite right. We pride ourselves on not lifting skin or causing injury, as all our estheticians are fully licensed- something not required in Alberta!
  • How long do waxing results last?
    Results typically last 3-4 weeks, but this depends on your personal hair growth cycle. With regular waxing, your hair will become finer and regrow more slowly. Age can also slow down hair growth.
  • What if the aftercare for waxing?
    Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, saunas, and tight clothing for at least 24 hours. Exercise of any kind can contribute to acne and ingrowns for the next 48 hours, so be mindful and try to reduce sweat.
  • Can I get waxing if I have sensitive skin or are pregnant?
    Yes, but please inform your esthetician prior to service. We will take extra care to ensure you are comfortable, and may adjust products based on your needs.
  • Can I get waxing if I am menstruating?
    Absolutely! So long as you are comfortable with wearing an insertable menstrual product as opposed to a pad for the duration of your service, we are more than capable of working around normal human body processes.
  • What services do you offer?
    We offer a wide range of esthetics services, including face and body waxing, intimate waxing, manicures/pedicures, face and body facials, lash/brow lifting and tinting. Please see our 'Services' page for a comprehensive list.
  • How do I book an appointment?
    You have a couple options for booking! Our online booking is through Vagaro, which can be accessed in our 'Booking' section or on mobile via the app. If online booking seems a bit daunting, give us a call or a text during working hours and we would be happy to book manually!
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept cash, credit cards (including American Express), and debit. If necessary, we can also take e-transfer! We do not require deposits, but you are more than welcome to pay ahead.
  • What is your cancellation policy?

  • What is the difference between a lash lift + tint and lash extensions?
    A lash lift and tint enhances your natural lashes by curling and darkening them, while lash extensions involve adhering synthetic lashes to your natural line. Lash lifts and tints are ideal for achieving a mascara type look, while lash extensions are ideal for the appearance of false/fake lashes.
  • How long does a lash or brow tint last?
    Lash and brow tints typically last 4-6 weeks. Results will fade as new hair/lashes grow.
  • How often should I get a facial?
    We recommend a facial every 4-6 weeks to maintain healthy skin. However, this can vary depending on your tailored facial service and your skin type.
  • What is a body facial?
    A body facial is a skincare treatment for non-facial areas of the body. We offer back facials, booty facials, and intimate facials.
  • Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
    While our products may not be suitable to everyone's skin concerns, we use high quality products that are designed to be safe for sensitive skin. Each treatment is tailored to your needs, and the products we use can vary depending on your skin needs, allergies, and sensitivities.
